Seattleite Amelia Coulter makes her KBFG debut, joining an unusual David Bowie, old punks Violent Femmes and X; English band The Heavy are really cool. Yikes what a playlist! So stuffed of talent, I’m using Tom Waits as filler.

Several years ago, I saw Television play at what was then called the Experience Music Project. A dad guy brought his two teenaged kids, and they could not have been bigger babies. The boy actually asked if he could just go sit in the car and wait for this to be over. (Pre-smart-phone era, I might add.) By the time Television was into their 3rd song, those kids we’re dancing mightier than any of the rest of us. Great band.
