Day 11: A song you never get tired of

Tom Waits – On the Nickol

Actually, this song could have been yesterday’s.  Tom makes me weep every time I listen to this song.  (But, it’s not sadness.)  He has a tenderness and kindness as he sings about the down-and-out, the less fortunate, the deranged among us.  And he’s funny.  And he has soul.

Interested in music from 1950s to the present, mostly indie bands and punk, but also avant garde, blues, Motown ... almost but not quite, anything. I'm looking for people to share music, new and old, and looking for new avenues to discovery new music. Come with me.

  1. I’m re-naming this one a Tom Waits song you never get tired of, OK? Because that’s just to hard! Tom Waits’ Town with No Cheer would be one a lot really.
