Day 8: A song about drugs or alcohol

Wow.  I’ve never been much for drugs or heavy alcohol use.  What to do?  Ah, William S. Burroughs, with accompaniment by Kurdt Kobain; “The Priest They Called Him”. Even the dregs of society can demonstrate acts of kindness

(n.b.: YT muted the soundtrack for copyright reasons, but DailyMotion did not.  We’ll see how long this link works.)

Interested in music from 1950s to the present, mostly indie bands and punk, but also avant garde, blues, Motown ... almost but not quite, anything. I'm looking for people to share music, new and old, and looking for new avenues to discovery new music. Come with me.
